Elizabeth Miller joined the Law Firm of Chris E. Ragano, P.A. in December, 2015 as the firm administrator. Liz has more than 30 years' experience in the legal field and has been working with the Tampa Bay legal community since 1985. Liz Miller received her paralegal degree from the Paralegal Institute of New York in 1981. She received her Bachelor's degree from Eckerd College with a major in business administration and a minor in human resources in 2007 and graduated with a 3.7 GPA while attending college full-time and working full-time. She earned her MBA with a specialty in finance in June of 2009 and graduated with a 3.5 GPA also while working full-time and going to school full-time. Liz is a member of the national and local chapters of the Association of Legal Administrators, the American Bar Association, the Society of Human Resource Management and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Liz handles all the administrative functions for the Law Firm of Chris E. Ragano, P.A. including all accounting, billing, finances, client marketing and development and all other administrative functions of the firm. Her book, "From Lawyer to Law Firm - How to Manage a Successful Law Business" was recently published by Open Palm Press on May 11, 2017 and hit #4 on the Best Seller's list by May 23, 2017. She currently serves on the editorial advisory board of Law Office Manager magazine. She blogs twice a month for their newsletter and writes a column once a month for the magazine. In June, 2017 Liz hosted a webinar through Law Office Manager magazine, "How to Manage Client Billings and Collections". She will be doing another webinar in the fall, "Don't Let Your Trust Account Get You Disbarred". Her volunteer activities include Toys for Tots, Paint Your Heart Out Tampa and Habitat for Humanities. Liz Miller lives in Weeki Wachee with Richard, her husband of 35 years and their chocolate lab, Godiva. In her spare time, Liz enjoys writing, reading, traveling, shopping and spending time with her family.
